Veg sandwich with Ghugni
Hey guyz, hope all of you are doing well. So, in this post i brought a new dish with me, veg "sandwich with ghugni".
As we all know Sandwich was originated on England and Ghugni is an Indian dish. So i tried this at home.
So let's get to the ingredients
For Sandwich
Cabage, onion, tomato, cucumber, ginger, garlic, Chili, Bread(brown or white).
For ghugni
Pea, onion, potato, chana, cabage.
Let's cook
1. Firstly, grind the tomato, cucumber, onion, ginger, garlic and chili with a pinch of salt and make a chutney.
2. Chop the cabage into tiny pieces along with the onion and tomatoes.
3. Now toast the bread and apply the chutney on it.
4. add one slice each for onion and tomato.
5. Now garnish it with the chopped cabage pieces. You can add an extra cabage leaf.
Now our sandwich is ready .
For the ghugni
1. Boil some yellow peas and potatoes in a cooker.
2. After two or three whistles switch off the gas and let it cool.
3. Now start frying the boil potatoes and peas in a kadhai.
4. After frying for sometime add salt and spices according to your taste.
5. Fry it for some time and add a cup of water, put the lid and leave it for 3-4 minutes.
Now our ghugni is ready.
6. For garnishing serve it in a bowl and firstly some chutny and chopped cabage leaf, you can evan add some channas or sev.
Ghugni and sandwich both can be eaten as evening snack.
