Homemade steamed and fried momos
Ingredients -- a medium-sized cabbage, three carrots, 4 onions, two cup flour, 4 tomatoes, salt, and spices.
First of all,
1.We will take two cups of refined flour, one teaspoon salt, and two tablespoons of refined oil.
2.Mix it well and make a soft dough with water.
3. Put a lid on it for 10-20 minutes.
For stuffing,
1. Chop all the veggies.
2. Add two teaspoons of salt and mix it well.
3. We will keep it 10 minutes aside so the extra water goes out.
4. After 10 minutes, take out all the extra water from the chopped veggies by pressing with your hands.
5. Because of the salt pulses, all the extra water came out easily
6. Put it in a bowl add 1 and a 1/2 spoon of salt and spices and mix it well.
7. Now take a cooker or saucepan and pour half litter water for boil.
8. Now make small roti from the dough and fill it with the stuffing. And make your favorite momo shape.
9. Take a pot that has a hole in it
10. Now grease it with refined oil. So momos won't stick with the pot.
11. Now put a lid over it. And steam it for 10-12 minutes.
12. Take it out.
13. Now take a kadhai on high flame pour some refined oil. And add half of the steamed momos to it to fry.
14. Fry it till deep brown.
15. Now take it out.
Now we will make chutney,
1. Take a pan and pour water, now put the tomatoes to boil.
2. After 5-10 minutes take out the tomatoes and peel them.
3. Now cut it into pieces, add 2-3 red Mirchi, 1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it in a grinder.
4. Our chutney is ready.
Now serve the steamed and fried momos on a plate with the chutney. And enjoy 😉.
